Video edited by Eric Rodgers (Revised)
We learned last weekend that former OKC Barons goaltender David LeNeveu, who is now with the Linz Black Wings, was injured in the January 6th game vs. Sapa Fehérvár AV19, due to a slap shot puck to the mask from Swede Eric Johansson. The pressure from the puck hitting the mask caused injury to his eye, and following treatment, LeNeveu is currently recuperating.
Since his departure, OKC fans and friends have been keeping up with Dave’s career and wanted to send him a “Get Well and Speedy Recovery” message to let him know we are thinking of him and miss him here in OKC!
- You can keep up with Dave’s progress on the Black Wings Linz Facebook page.

Thanks to Eric Rodgers for editing the video and to Oil Field Hockey for the great idea!
Update January 25th: David LeNeveu is now back in goal for the Linz Black Wings! Welcome back, Dave! It’s been a rough 19 days.
