OKC Barons Center Ice Logo 2012

Roster shuffling continues throughout the leagues and a few of our former OKC Barons have moved or signed since the beginning of the season.

Updated: November 29, 2013:

Gilbert BruléIgor Eronko announced early this morning (Nov. 25th) that Brulé has departed the Coyotes’ Portland Pirates and signed a 1-year contract with KHL’s Magnitogorsk Metallurg, coached by Mike Keenan. Apparently the KHL jumped the gun on their announcement since today the Phoenix Coyotes have signed Brulé to a 1-year 2-way contract. Good luck, Gilbert! Wherever you play!

Philippe Cornet — Announced in today’s AHL transactions (Nov. 22nd), San Antonio Rampage have traded Cornet to the Charlotte Checkers in return for Adam Brace. All the best, Philippe!

Jeff DeslauriersAnnounced Nov. 29th, goaltender Deslauriers signed to an AHL contract with Wilkes-Barre/Stranton Penguins. All the best Jeff!

Niko Hovinen — Metallurg Novokuznetsk has traded Hovinen to the Vladivostok Admirals (Nov. 22nd). The road trips and airline mileage will be excessive for the Admirals, but I hear the seafood is fantastic there. Good luck Niko!

David LeNeveu — The South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL team affiliated with the Boston Bruins) announced Nov. 27th that they have signed LeNeveu. This is great news to many OKC Barons fans! All the best, Dave! We will be cheering for you!

Toni Rajala — The Swedish team HV71 (SHL) signed Rajala on October 15. All the best, Toni!
