Late yesterday evening I happened across an outstanding article by Andrew Rodger on the Oklahoma City Barons player Bryan Helmer. Watching the veteran Helmer with the Barons at the end of last season, I remember being very impressed by his play and dedication. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy and I am very happy to see that is in fact the truth. I talked briefly with Andrew Rodger via Twitter and he spoke very highly of Bryan and directed me to  several articles he had written dating from 2009. Please read Rodger’s articles on Bryan Helmer (particularly the most recent and the Calder Cup article) and you will have a much better idea of who he is, and why we should be thrilled to have him here in Oklahoma City playing for the Barons.
