With the Edmonton Oilers injuries mounting, OKC Barons Mark Arcobello finally got the call. For two seasons now I have watched Arcobello play in OKC and his incredibly tenacious game has always stood out despite his small stature. When the lockout brought the top young line of the Edmonton Oilers to OKC, Arcobello found himself playing alongside the boys and proved an excellent fit. With Nugent-Hopkins’ recent injury, Mark Arcobello is once again going to join the top line with Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall for his first NHL game.
Arcobello is underestimated and often overlooked, but his full-out-never-stop work ethic has finally paid off with the call up. Good luck Mark! Knock ‘em dead!
